Q: The pinball left and/or right flipper is not responding when the corresponding push button is pressed. Can this problem be fixed?A: This is a symptom of a malfunction within the cabinet. This is usually a sign of broken wiring or hardware failure. The best option is to have a trained service technician to fix the problem.
- Store the pinball machine in a dry environment if possible. Keeping the pinball machine in a high humidity or damp environment such as a basement can reduce the life and reliability of the machine. It is common to find corrosion damage on pinball machines left in damp environment.
- It is HIGHLY recommended to replace the batteries in your pinball machine at least once a year. The best practice is to change them when you change your clocks for day lights savings time so you don't forget! If a battery is kept in the machine for too long and begins to leak acid, damages can be severe and can be costly ($$$). It will corrode and damage any electrical components that are below the batteries. In extreme circumstances, it can render entire PCB un-repairable. If such damages does occur, don't panic, the pinball machine can still be repaired.
